What happens to my resume once I submit it to Avacend?

If you match one of our open positions, a Recruiter will contact you to schedule an interview to review your background and job search criteria.  

How can I apply for a specific job? 

1) Select the title of the job that you wish to apply for.

2) At the bottom of the page, below the Headling, Apply, click either the "New Resume" or "Existing Resume" button and follow subsequent steps on your screen.

What companies do you work with?

How long do assignments last?

The length of an assignment varies according to our client’s needs — ranging from a few months to a few years. We work to place you in a role that fits your short-term or long-term needs. While assignments are subject to our client’s needs, it’s important that you communicate your needs as well with your recruiter.

How can I see if a job has been filled?

In general, jobs that appear on this site are open and active, even though the interview process may have already started. If you don’t find a position that was previously shown on the site, then it is filled or is no longer available.

Do you have a general mailbox for resumes, or do I have to apply for a specific job?

If you'd like to be considered for employment, but do not see a current job posting that matches your skills and experience, we encourage you to create an account and submit your resume. By doing so, you will receive email alerts with recommended jobs that match your criteria. You may also submit your resume to hr@avacend.com

What benefits do you offer?

Our benefits include contributory medical, dental and vision insurance. 

Does Avacend offer visas or work permits?

In most cases, Avacend does not offer visas or work permits. You will need to be authorized to work in the country where the job is based unless otherwise stated in the job description.

 Does Avacend hire permanent resident aliens? Green card holders? Those with valid work visas?

Yes, Avacend positions are open to any individual eligible to work in the United States. This includes those with valid Employment Authorization Documents, those with valid United States Permanent Resident Cards (aka Green Cards), and others eligible to work in the United States as described on Department of Homeland Security document I-9.

 Does Avacend have a minimum age requirement to work?

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age in order to be considered for employment.

When I am on an assignment for one of Avacend's customers, who is my employer?

Regardless of which of Avacend's customers you work for, Avacend is always your employer. Your Account Manager is your contact for all work assignments or employment issues. 

 How do I refer a friend?
